The first Gin was made in the Netherlands, and it was by mistake Dr. Professor of Medicine Sylvius, who tried to make a cheap cure for kidney problems. This drink was so in love with English soldiers that they brought him to England, where he became a national drink. Gin usually has 40% alcohol.
